HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all you dads!
Chris (and obviously Clayton) helped me make little bags of trail mix for Primary to give to all the dads of the ward. By the time we were done, we had a few casualties and one delicious mix of goodies.
The title is me trying to sing the wedding song. This is the only picture (thanks Amency) that I have of Scott and Ashley's wedding last weekend. It was a great wedding and a great weekend. Lots of fun, food and family. I don't think Clayton even walked much on his own. There was always a lap to run to!
Here are the long awaited pictures....For those who don't know... we are expecting a little girl at the beginning of October. This is her profile.
We were in having the ultrasound from 1:00 to 1:50. Everything measures out fine and looks good. But all I can remember is the ultrasound tech saying, "stubborn little girl" over and over again (and having me practically standing on my head to get a bum shot). I hope that wasn't a foreshadow. Apparently, where the arrow is, when there are 3 dots and no boy parts...it ends up being a girl.
Here are her little feet. Chris and I are both excited. He even let me buy 1 pink thing (he says we have to start out small :)!!! The best was when we were in the toy section and Clayton went down the 'girl'/doll isle. He was hitting the dolls but it was just the fact that he was interested in them that got Chris 'worried'. This is going to be fun!
..for being so fearless, Clayton has finally met his match... thunder storms! We had a really loud one yesterday. Clayton would come running after every sound. Once he was in his seat for breakfast, he couldn't do anything but 'hide from the thunder'.
I told Clayton to cover his eyes if he was scared. He covered them with his eye lids. (If you tell him to close his eyes, he winks at you).
Turns out thunder wasn't the end of the fear (by the way, I've never seen him afraid of anything before today). It was our first day with play-doh. Chris made Clayton some play-doh snakes--and then put the fear of snakes into him...check out the video.
