While We Were Out!

Laney and I took a little adventure up to Minnesota last weekend to bid fairwell to my Uncle Tom. It was great to see the whole family and we will miss Uncle Tom but he had been sick for awhile and now is in a better place.

But, while we were out, by the looks of things, the boys were doing manly things.... like playing with pink baskets filled with matchbox cars.
When we got home, it was straight to Target for some bumper pads that were long over due!

We hope everyone is doing great!

I'm Hungry!

This girl doesn't miss a meal... But she hides it pretty well. Most of the times that I have changed her infront of innocent bystanders, they have made a comment. It goes something like, "Man, Laney, you sure do have some thighs". I love those 'butter thighs' -as we call them (that is until she hits puberty and gets really self aware and all that girly stuff, right?).
This is Laney's first biter-biscuit. At 4 months, Clayton was loving some baby food but Laney doesn't show much interest. This picture is a 'forced' food picture. I opened her little fingers, put the treat in, and guided it to her mouth.
This is what she really looks like. She's trying, but not for very long.

Her toy is stationary and is much easier to get into the mouth. Looks like she is staying on a strickly bottle diet for awhile longer.

Put somethin' in Mama!

Out of Commission!

After Laney came home from the hospital, Clayton spiked a fever that we cannot get down and Chris showed up with a nasty case of Shingles (yep, he has the old man's disease). So, we're not sure who to stay away from but I think we need a big bubble around our house until summer comes and kills off our bugs. Clayton is in the "MINE" stage and insists on taking his own temperature.

"Snow does a body good"! The snow really was pretty here and the icicles were breath-taking. This baby was hanging from our gutters. It might wrip down the side of our house but its a beaut.
