Tis the Season....again!

This kid is so cute that I had to do one more recap of Clayton's 1st Christmas...

We were so excited to have all of my family in Oklahoma this year for Christmas. Clayton was so excited that apparently he wanted to eat his new cousin Lauren. Actually, Clayton is in the phase where he eats everything his little fingers can grasp. This is apparent by the handfulls of wrapping paper that he ate this Christmas!

MMMM....
Bows were another tasty treat!

Christmas is so much more fun when you have a child to share it with.
We are greatful for this season and all who shared it with us!

Clayton's Favorite Pass-Time

During the ice storm we had to stay in our empty apartment with only a computer and our son to entertain us.

We discovered Clayton's favorites.

Here they are...

Piggy back on daddy!

This is a new trick...biscuit eating.

MMMMM.....

Teething or Discovering?!

The doctors said that at this age children put everything in their mouths to 'discover' new things. I though Clayton was starting to teeth, taking into account all the drool. So, we bought him a teething ring that he could hold on to. Too bad its pink! That's ok, he doesn't seem to mind. But, he would rather chew on mom and dad (Dad's nose is a good target). We seem to be easier to catch then that pink teething ring!

Burrrrr!

Yep, we are still feeling the wrath of last weeks ice storm.
This picture is the perfect example of the past week...trying to stay warm.
Today we finally have some sunshine so our little 'pack' is soaking up some rays!
The electric crews were on our street this morning so we are hopeful for some power tonight and to be able to sleep in our own beds.
It's fun camping out but we are tired of eating french fries!

Giggles

This was such a treat! Clayton, out of no where, had his tickle box flipped over. However, I think anyone would be laughing if there was a momma making a fool of herself on their behalf. Anyways he was so cute. Needless to say, he didn't get in bed on time that night. We were too busy playing.

Go LSU!

Sorry our blog is late. Our camera is in the shop and I'm scrounging for pictures to keep everyone updates.

This is Clayton's rally for LSU in their 2nd over time...the rally didn't exactly work out for us this time but in the end, LSU got a spot in the championship...yeah.I don't know if Clayton is going to be a sports buff or if he just likes everyone else's reaction to the action, but he was lovin game time!

He is sporting Lolli's home-made rattle. It is made up of a little plastic cup, BBs, and a plastic knife. It's probably not recommended by the board of Pediatrics but Clayton loves it! And, we couldn't find any old-school rattles. Everything is so fancy now days.

A monkey and a rattle... What else could a boy hope for? I'm sure its normal but Clayton's best friends seem to be all inanimate objects! His favorite seems to be the ceiling fan; They have more conversations than we do with Clayton!
